In Mid Flight

On Board Cruise Ship Zuiderdam - Alaska
These seagulls were flying alongside our cabin looking for a feed. Some left over bread crumbs provided an opportunity for a few shots whilst they were feeding.

Chipmunk

This chipmunk, spotted at Lake Agnes Teahouse, Lake Louise, has grown accustomed to humans and came pretty close for a feed. As I observed, it has a pretty high diet (to its detriment) of French fries!

Red Jellyfish

Tiburonia Grarajo - California Academy of Sciences , San Francisco
The rich colours of the Red Jellyfish with the blue background offered a very attractive image. This jellyfish is different to other normal jellyfish in that they do not have marginal tentacles, but instead have flesh oral arms that they use to eat. They are also known as the Big Red as they can grow up to one metre in diameter and are mainly found in very deep and cold waters.

Tranquility

Lac Beauvert at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Canadian Rockies
I like the early morning reflection of Mount Edith Cavell on (Lake) Lac Beauvert, one of the gems of Jasper National Park.. There was a light breeze blowing, evident by ripples in the water.
